Valdaora and the tourist region of the Plan de Corones and Val Pusteria offer so many possibilities at any time of year. The ideal place for an active or cultural holiday in South Tyrol.
Valdaora is perfect for a winter holiday. We’re just 2 km from the Plan de Corones, South Tyrol’s No.1 mountain for skiing and snowboarding. The ski bus stops right in front of our building.
You can explore the winter landscape along the many cross-country ski trails. You can also go on a snowshoe hike to one of the many mountain huts.
And for the experts: Val Pusteria is a real paradise for ski mountaineering.
With the Dolomites right nearby, you’re sure to spend some time up in the mountains. Our mountains are truly evocative, with many wonderful trails and stunning views. Hiking and climbing are very popular here. The splendid rock gyms near our village are an excellent way to train. And if you still want more excitement after your climb, how about a paragliding flight?
Are you looking for challenging MTB routes, or would you prefer to ride along the Val Pusteria cycle path? The Val Pusteria is a great valley for cycling, with something to suit all tastes.
N.B.: We have a bike store here at the ROUDA, with charging stations for e-bikes.
Our apartments are perfect for a family holiday. The start of the Valdaora Children’s World is just 100 metres from our property, a big adventure playground that extends into the woods. How about a visit to the adventure park with its high rope trails? For anyone who loves swimming, the Valdaora outdoor pool is just a few minutes away by car. In winter-time, there are plenty of toboggan runs and ice-skating rinks to please every age. Both adults and children can take their first steps on the slopes at our ski schools, or venture out on the cross-country trails.
Riding enthusiasts will be spoiled for choice, as there are lots of stables in the area around Valdaora. What about a horseback ride across a quiet pasture?
Golf enthusiasts can play at the splendid 9-hole course at the Val Pusteria Golf Club at Riscone, just a few kilometres away from us.
